Adina Mihăilescu

Senior researcher

Graduate of the Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic Informatics, completed her PhD thesis entitled “Social Costs in Romania’s Evolution to the Market Economy” in 2000.

Since 2009 she is senior researcher II in the Research Institute for Quality of Life.

The main areas of interest are: living standards, decent living and subsistence minimum, social costs, income and consumption of the population, cost of living, living conditions of families with children, living conditions of the third age, the population in Romania, the ecological consumer basket, mobbing, social inequalities, poverty, social policies.

Research interests: social costs, income and consumption of the population, decent consumer basket, subsistence consumer basket, social inequalities, poverty, social policies.
